Microsoft DCOM Page
Get DCOM 95 Get DCOM 98
If you are using either Windows 95 or an older copy of Windows 98, you may need to load an upgrade to your operating system files before you can run the new reports program. The component you need will be either DCOM95 or DCOM98, depending which operating system you are running. You can get the upgrade from Microsoft. Click on the appropriate link at the left to go to the relevant Microsoft download page.
Get Winzip Evaluation You should back up your data files (those typically found in C:\XADATA) regularly, but for most fairs the files will be too large to fit on a single removeable diskette. One solution to the problem is to use a zip utility to compress the files before copying them. Winzip is easy to use and has been around for a long time. You can get an evaluation version from their web site.
