Main Floor Hall - Riverside Ex

The Main Floor Hall is a 14,000 sq. ft. facility perfect for large events. The Hall is accessible from the lobby area. All rentals include common access to the main floor washrooms. A large overhead door at the west end of the building allows vehicle access into the hall. The Main Floor Hall has a capacity of up to 1,200.

What We Provide:

The Main Floor Hall includes access to wireless or hard-wired fiber-optic internet. There are three 200amp electrical services (only one may be on at a time) on the West Wall, North Wall, or Stage.

Rentals include the use of up to thirty 8' rectangular tables and 300 stacking chairs. Five high-top round bar tables are also available. Up to thirty 72" round tables (Seat 10-12) are available (For an additional fee). If you require additional tables or chairs, our rental partners can help.

A portable sound system with microphone and a projector and screen are available.

The Hall is heated and air-conditioned and a thermostat provides 5-degrees of control warmer or cooler. Two ceiling fans help to circulate air when necessary.

A digital lighting controller allows you to dim lights and adjust which lights are on during your event. Electrical outlets to the centre of the hall are suspended from the ceiling on retractable lines.

Some of the many events held here include conferences, banquets, funerals, Church services, festivals, dance recitals, theatre shows, elections, trade shows, garden shows, bridal shows, vendor sales, swap meets, car and boat shows, weddings, dog shows and agility competitions, sporting events, wrestling shows, stag & doe parties, and more.

What You Provide:

A signed copy of our rental agreement and key-holder agreement.

A 50% non-refundable booking deposit is due at signing.

The balance 50% is due during the week before your event when you pick up your key.

We require a security deposit of $750.00 for all Main Floor Hall Rentals. This is usually returned within two weeks of your booking provided there is no damage to the Hall following your event. The security deposit is payable during the week before your event when you pick up your key.

We also require proof of liability insurance of $2 million dollars for all Main Floor Hall Rentals. This is standard across all rental facilities. You can source your own insurance, or use our provider. If you source your own insurance, you must provide a copy of the certificate two weeks before your rental. If you source your own insurance the 'Caledonia Agricultural Society' must be named as additional insured.

You must mop any spills and put away any tables and chairs used.

Full terms and conditions will be provided in the rental agreement.

The Main Floor Hall can be rented daily, weekends, or weekly. We recommend you contact us to make your booking at-least 8 months prior to your event. We take bookings up to 24 months in advance.

This pricing does not include access to the kitchen or bar.

Rentals are payable by cash, cheque, bank draft, or money order payable to 'Caledonia Agricultural Society,' E-Transfer, or Interac Debit. Since we are a charity, we do not charge HST on rental fees.
