Riverside Exhibition Centre
The Riverside Exhibition Centre, formerly the Old Arena, was completely renovated in 2020 and has been transformed into Haldimand County's largest event space.
The Riverside Exhibition Centre features a 14,000 sq. ft. hall with a theatre-production stage with green room, bar with walk-in cooler, commercial catering kitchen, concession kitchen, and several smaller rental spaces. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Grand River from the 2,800 sq. ft. Mutual Room.
The Riverside Exhibition Centre is connected online with both Wi-Fi 6, and gigabit CAT6 wired connections serviced by a state-of-the-art fiber-optic network.

This 14,000 sq. ft. hall can accommodate concerts and conferences for up to 1200 and banquets for up to 800.
It has a 1,300 sq. ft. theatre-production stage with functional and stylish black curtaining.
The space has a built-in sound system, and access to a commercial kitchen and bar with walk-in cooler.
Our large commercial kitchen is accessible from outside, or from the main floor hall. It features two ten-burner gas ranges, two stock-pot ranges, cabinet convection oven, two 40lb deep fryers, a 36" griddle, ice maker, coffee maker, reach-in fridge and freezer, and a commercial conveyor dishwasher. It has a locker room and washroom.
The 800 sq. ft. Education Room features an audio-visual presentation system and kitchenette. It is perfect for meetings, parties, and conference breakout sessions.
Compliment your Fairgrounds rental by providing access to the main washrooms. These fully-accessible men's and women's washrooms can be accessed from the Fairgrounds without providing access to the Riverside Exhibition Centre.
This 2,800 sq. ft. hall, with views overlooking the Fairgrounds and Grand River, can accommodate a banquet or special event for up to 160 people. It has a kitchenette, and private washroom facilities, including an accessible family washroom.
Our theatre-production stage is accessible from the main floor hall via stairs or lift, or from the Education Room. It features a separate 200amp service, and conduit for A/V monitoring to the centre of the Main Hall. The stage features functional and stylish black commando curtaining.
The Board Room, located on the 2nd floor, opens into the Mutual Room. It enjoys views overlooking the Fairgrounds, and features a kitchenette. A stunning glass-wall can be used to separate the Board room from the 2nd floor lounge area.
The Caledonia Agricultural Society has worked closely with the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit to create policies and procedures for our fundraisers and events and operations of our facilities to ensure community Safety. The Society follows all Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Guidelines for operating during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Society has utilized the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) Leading Global Protocols for the New Normal- Conference Centres, Meetings, & Events to create a detailed COVID-19 Policy.
