Second Floor Hall - Riverside Ex

The Second Floor Hall is a 2,800 sq. ft. facility perfect for banquets and parties. When you rent the upstairs hall, you also have access to our Board Room (when available) at no additional charge- this means your event has private use of the entire second floor. The second floor is accessible using stairs or an elevator from the main lobby. The Second Floor Hall can hold up to 150 people.

What We Provide:

Rentals include the use of up to ten 6' rectangular tables and 100 stacking chairs. Five high-top round bar tables are also available. Up to fifteen 72" round tables (Seat 10-12) are available (for an additional fee). If you require additional tables or chairs, our rental partners can help.

The second floor hall has two kitchenettes with ample counter space. When also using the board room, a third kitchenette is available with a fridge.

A portable sound system with microphone and a projector and screen are available.

The Hall is heated and air-conditioned and a thermostat provides 5-degrees of control warmer or cooler. 

There are men's and women's washrooms and a family accessible washroom on the second floor. 

Some of the many events held here include conferences, banquets, funerals, Church services, dance recitals, musical performances, elections, vendor sales, swap meets, weddings, and more.

What You Provide:

A signed copy of our rental agreement and key-holder agreement.

A 50% non-refundable booking deposit is due at signing.

The balance 50% is due during the week before your event when you pick up your key.

We require a security deposit of $250.00 for all Second Floor Hall Rentals. This is usually returned within two weeks of your booking provided there is no damage to the Hall following your event. The security deposit is payable during the week before your event when you pick up your key.

We also require proof of liability insurance of $2 million dollars for all Second Floor Hall Rentals. This is standard across all rental facilities. You can source your own insurance, or use our provider. If you source your own insurance, you must provide a copy of the certificate two weeks before your rental. If you source your own insurance the 'Caledonia Agricultural Society' must be named as additional insured. Our insurance rates: events without alcohol: $150.00, events with alcohol: $300.00.

You must mop any spills and put away any tables and chairs used.

The Second Floor Hall can be rented daily, weekend, or for a week. We recommend you contact us to make your booking at-least 6 months prior to your event. We take bookings up to 24 months in advance.

Daily Rental Rate:

Second Floor 2020: $500.00

Second Floor 2021: $500.00

Second Floor 2022: $550.00

Weekend Rental Rate: 

(Friday & Saturday, Saturday & Sunday, or Sunday & Holiday Monday)

Second Floor 2020: $900.00

Second Floor 2021: $900.00

Second Floor 2022: $1000.00

This pricing does not include access to the kitchen. It includes access to the Board Room when available.

Rentals are payable by cash, cheque, bank draft, or money order payable to 'Caledonia Agricultural Society,' E-Transfer, or Interac Debit. Since we are a charity, we do not charge HST on rental fees.
