The Basics

The Caledonia Fair takes place over four days each year. We expect our vendors and concessions to be set up and ready to sell beginning on Thursday, October 1, 2026, and remain open during operating hours until Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Inside Retail Concessions

We have a limited number of indoor concession spaces available in our Riverside Exhibition Centre. Inside concession spaces are 8' x 8' and cost $350.00 including HST. We provide four admission lanyards for retail staff to enter the grounds throughout the fair. Additional staff lanyards may be purchased ahead of the Fair at a cost of $30 including HST each. We accept applications for retail and pre-packaged food sales in inside concession spaces.

Outside Retail Concessions

Outside retail concessions are located in a high-volume area of the Fairgrounds nestled between the Exhibition Hall, Midway, and Grandstands. There are two different configurations for outside concessions: spaces 15' frontage by 10' depth, and spaces 10' frontage by 20' depth.  These configurations are both available for $375.00 including HST. You can purchase multiple spaces to lengthen your available frontage. We provide four admission lanyards for retail staff to enter the grounds throughout the fair. Additional staff lanyards may be purchased ahead of the Fair at a cost of $30 including HST each. Vehicles may not be parked within concession spaces. We accept applications for retail and pre-packaged food sales in outside concession spaces.

Food Concessions

Everybody loves fair food- it is a well known fact that diets go out the window at the fair. We have spaces available for food concessions in strategic places throughout the Fairgrounds. Food Concession spaces border the retail concessions area between the Exhibition Hall, Midway, and Grandstands. We limit the number of similar vendors to ensure a wide variety of delicious menus are available to our guests. Food concession spaces are available for $850.00 including HST. Discounts are available for local non-profit community groups.

Other Details

Food concessions are provided access to potable water and a wastewater dumping station. Garbage and recycling is processed on-site. HST is included in the total cost of each concession space. Electrical connection is provided on a first-come, first-served or reserved basis. You will need to provide the amperage and voltage plus the connection (plug type) you will require for electrical access when you complete the application.

Insurance

Inside and Outside Concessions will have liability insurance automatically added to your registration at a cost of $75.00 including HST. Should you carry your own insurance, you can opt-out of our coverage before August 1st, 2026. Should you opt-out of automatic coverage, you will receive a $75.00 refund cheque when you arrive at the Fair. In order to opt-out of automatic coverage, you must submit a certificate of insurance with a minimum per-occurrence limit of $2million liability coverage and naming 'Caledonia Agricultural Society' as additional insured before August 1st, 2026.
