Bring your classroom to the Caledonia Fair for an unforgettable day of hands-on agricultural education, exciting live entertainment, and classic fair fun!

Designed to connect students with the world of agriculture and rural life, School Day offers engaging experiences that teach where food comes from, how animals are cared for, and the important role farming plays in our communities.

Open to all public and privately funded elementary schools in Halidmand, Norfolk, Brant, Hamilton, and Niagara. Home schools are subject to regular gate admission.

Agricultural Education Experiences

Students will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet real local farmers through our “Meet Your Local Farmer” program

  • Watch live milking demonstrations

  • See traditional sheep shearing demonstrations

  • Learn about farm animal care and welfare

  • Discover important farm safety practices

  • Explore livestock barns and agricultural exhibits

  • Experience the excitement of the Youth Horse Show and the Dairy Cattle Show

Included Entertainment

Along with educational programming, classes can enjoy an incredible lineup of live entertainment throughout the fairgrounds, including:

  • The Superdogs

  • Team T & J

  • Bandaloni

  • Mad Science

  • The Hockey Circus Show

  • Reptiles!

  • And so much more!

Admission Information

  • FREE admission for all students, teachers, and support staff

  • Each classroom will receive 5 complimentary chaperone passes

Registration Deadline

To participate, please register your class before 5:00 PM on Monday, September 21st, 2026.

Please note we are unable to guarantee parking for busses at the Fairgrounds. Limited bus parking will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Number of Chaperones Attending

General Policies

All students, teachers, and support staff arriving on the bus will be admitted free. No re-entry stamps will be provided.


Five (5) free chaperone passes will be provided per classroom and will be emailed to the contact submitting this form on September 22nd, 2026. Chaperone passes must be printed or shown on a mobile device for entry at the gate.


Additional chaperones and any students, teachers, and support staff who do not arrive on the bus will be subject to regular gate admission.


Verbal or other abuse of Fair volunteers or staff will not be tolerated.
